Vince August is a club regular at Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York City. In addition, August performs all over as a veteran headliner. He has also made a name for himself on camera as a regular actor on ABC’s primetime show “What Would You Do?” The hidden camera prank show has showcased his improv abilites as he usually portrays the antagonist with scenes that have elicited emotions of extreme rage to tears. August has also appeared in the documentary film Heckler, soap opera As The World Turns, The Onion News Network and national television and radio commercials.

Warm up comedian for The Daily Show, August made international news this fall surrounding his resignation as Hackensack Municipal Court Judge. The New Jersey Supreme Court gave the comedian an ultimatum in September 2013 to choose between his passion for the law as Judge and his passion for entertainment. Vince chose comedy because in the end “you never give up on a dream.” A veteran comic, the Jersey native has been called the “modern day Don Rickles.” He finds the humor in every aspect of life, his and everyone else’s.
