MAUREEN LANGAN is a journalist turned comic and radio talk show host. Her show, Hangin’ with Langan, is broadcast Sunday nights on KGO, San Francisco’s premiere radio station. She has performed on Broadway with Rosie O’Donnell and has opened for Steven Wright, Dennis Miller, Joy Behar and Gladys Knight. She’s been featured on HBO, Gotham Live, and Comics Unleashed. She’s been featured at festivals in Canada, South Africa, Switzerland, Ireland, and the UK. Maureen tours the country with her critically acclaimed solo show, Daughter Of A Garbageman. It made its international debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before heading to San Francisco for a year-long run at The Marsh Theater, where it was critic’s choice for Top Three Solo Shows of 2017. As a broadcast journalist, Maureen worked for PBS and Bloomberg TV & Radio, where she created and hosted its entertainment programming. The Newswomen’s Club of NYC named her “Best Female Commentator.” Maureen grew up in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey, where there is no lake.
